The location is so beautuful - the hotel is comfortable without feeling pretentious and the staff are professional and welcoming. Because of the lovely weather, our individual patio area was well used. The food is exceptional - very well presented and a good choice at all times. Although we did not take a dog, it is pleasing to see how guests with dogs are made so welcome - there were no problems from the many dogs staying whilst we were there - can't say that about many hotels who don't allow dogs, - but do allow children!! Would certainly return for a relaxing holiday.
Appreciated not having 'plastic milk' on the hospitality tray, but remembering to ask for fresh milk became a bit of a nuisance - such a minor irritation though. Perhaps small fridges in rooms would be a good idea - or milk to be available in the coffee shop at any time for residents - thus avoiding having to ask staff at busy/inconvenient times.

Excellent staff with great local knowledge. Stunning and amazing location into the beautiful hillside, and 10 min walking distance to Soar Mill Cove. Right by the cliff overlooking the cove as well as restaurant, lounge or bar.
Wi-Fi signal was not very good.

Everything was fab, thanks.
The location for Kingsbridge was stunning and lovely, close enough to Salcombe to South sands for a cream tea as well as one of which is windowless. Moreover, it was 3 km from an early 1900s museum.
